  1. Go to the Products page in your dashboard
  2. Click "Add Product"
  3. Enter your product name and SKU (optional)
  4. Optionally set your current selling price for comparison
  5. Save the product
3
Add Competitor URLs

Add URLs from competitor websites where the same product is sold. RivalPrice will automatically extract and monitor prices from these pages.

  1. Open your product in the dashboard
  2. Click "Add Competitor URL"
  3. Paste the full URL of the competitor's product page
  4. RivalPrice will automatically detect the competitor name from the domain
  5. You can add multiple competitor URLs per product

💡 Tips for adding URLs:

  • Use the exact product page URL (not category pages)
  • Make sure the page shows the product price when you visit it
  • Popular sites like Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart work great
4
Set Up Price Alerts

Configure notifications so you're alerted when competitor prices change. You can set up email notifications or webhooks.

  1. Go to Settings or the Alerts section
  2. Choose between email notifications or webhooks (or both)
  3. Set price change thresholds (e.g., alert if price drops by 5%)
  4. Configure which products or competitors to monitor
  5. Test your alert to make sure it works
5
Monitor & Analyze

Once set up, RivalPrice will automatically track prices based on your plan's update frequency. View price history and trends in your dashboard.

  • View price history charts for each product
  • See when prices changed and by how much
  • Compare your price to competitor prices
  • Export data for further analysis
